Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Lennox was able to survive on an allowance for students as well as working part-time to supplement her earnings. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill when compared with her peers and contemplated a possible alternative path she might follow. Lennox began her career as musician with the group Dragons Playground. But she quit before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. She sang lead for The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. In this band, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they would form the Eurythmics Pop duo. Lennox started working with Diva in 1992, her debut solo album. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive success. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul jazz tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. The first single from her debut album"Now I'm Letting You Go... is an accompaniment to her installation of artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992 by releasing the album Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like Walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa the album from 1995 studio features cover versions of No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with seven studio albums by herself as well as a compilation. |
